Academy of Interactive Entertainment

Since its establishment in 1996, the Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) has earned much recognition as Australia’s premier Registered Training Organisation for the Computer Game Development and 3D Digital industries.

AIE has grown significantly in the past 10 years and now boasts two campuses in Canberra and Melbourne. AIE is also investigating further expansion to other cities in the near future.

AIE continues to improve and expand its curriculum, offering nationally accredited Diploma pathways in Games Art and Programming. These courses have continued to allow our graduates to find employment in the Games Development industry, as well as offer pathways into other 3D industries; including Film & TV and Visualisations for defence, architecture and science.

Through ongoing consultation with various industry partners, AIE is currently expanding its curriculum to offer Advanced Diploma courses specialising in Games Development and Associate Degree’s in 3D art and programming for 2007 & 2008. KA Technologies

KA Technologies provide goods for sale at our events so that PC hardware and snack food are easily available to all of our attendees. They also play a major role in our pre-paid ticketing system enabling gamers to purchase tickets to our events at computer swap meets and now online.

EA Games

EA Games produce fantastic games for a variety of platforms and provide us with posters and prizes for our various competitions. At 3xtreme LAN Seven they provided us with Battlefield 2 posters and no less than 12 games to give away.
